Conor Ó Daighre is an artist from the foothills of Sliabh gCuillinn (Slieve Gullion) in rural County Armagh and currently lives in Dundalk, Co. Louth. The mountain, which is steeped in ancient mythology, has been a source of constant inspiration for him. Below is a brief portfolio of his paintings and Celtic calligraphy. Views of Gullion, depicting the mountain from the surrounding townlands of South Armagh and North Louth, exhibited at the Sean Hollywood Arts Centre in Newry in 2019. He is currently exploring more realist approaches to potraits and townscapes.
